AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. It seems like most of my thoughts are just not rational. They never shut up and they just aren’t true. But I can’t stop thinking about them. This is what I call my crazy her. She literally tries to drive me crazy, and she is usually very negative.
The funny thing is that I work hard not to associate with negative people, and I have one chattering away in my own head.
Luckily my ‘crazy her’ has a roommate, who I call my ‘wise her’. She is quieter, much more rational, calmer and knows just what to say in every circumstance. She hangs out in the background and waits for me to listen to what she has to say, and she too gets really annoyed with her roommate.
I spend time quieting myself down so I can hear what my ‘wise her’ is saying to me. And then I listen. I want to be more like her.
2. I love when I just know what is best for me and then when I follow that knowing. When I tap into my internal knowing with no regard for anything else. It feels so right. And it is usually the best choice.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We've created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.” by Albert Einstein.
2. “Trust your instincts. Intuition doesn't lie.” by Oprah Winfrey.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. Think about a problem that you have in your life right now. What does my heart say about this matter? If I quiet my mind, what subtle thoughts or feelings emerge?
